Triviador: reached 1. 5 Million Players share
Triviador Argentina is Launched
It has only been three months since Triviador was established, the very first Facebook strategy-trivia game. A short month later THX Games Plc. then launched the highly successful regional versions Triviador Mundo and Triviador USA.
Now THX is releasing Triviador Argentina, with its amazingly long country map and region focused questions. And why Argentina? Because Argentineans were the most enthusiastic players of Triviador Mundo…who were the most enthusiastic players of the original Triviador launched in November.
The number of “Triviadors,” as the loyal devotees to the game are called, are growing across the planet in all countries – 1.5 million users a month strong. And loyal they are. Appdata’s numbers show that Triviador is set to conquer every region across the planet, as THX Games plans to launch many more regional versions in the future.
In addition, there is an ever expanding, positive and helpful community who follow Triviador every day. People love helping each other on the wall and are eager to play friendly games and make friends in the Triviador chat and lobby. As evidenced by the Triviador Facebook wall, this intelligent game attracts intelligent people. And what is surprising is that nations with different types of cultural backgrounds enjoy the diversity of questions offered by Triviador. This strategy-trivia game has numerous players from Italy, Egypt, Indonesia, India and the Philippines who are not only geographically distant but vastly different culturally as well.

Is it me or is 8 hours too long???
Joining Triviador’s 1, 5 million strong community means meeting people who are interested in history, literature, mathematics, chemistry, all kind of discoveries, music and sport, and they are open and eager to share experiences with each other in this new, exciting brain stretching strategy-trivia game.

Facebook Game Let's Users Create and Play Interactive Horror Stories share
On October 6th, Evil Plot Games, LLC, announced the release of the full beta version of Nightmare Cove, an independent, interactive horror story game on Facebook. In the game, players create a character and move through adventures by choosing what to do at each story point. Nightmare Cove also offers an Adventure Builder tool that gives gamers an interface to make their own interactive adventures and share them with their friends and the larger Nightmare Cove community – no programming required.
Nightmare Cove employs a unique story driven system that delivers information in narrative form instead of the “number crunching” found in most role-playing games. This system is designed to appeal to both the casual and core gamer. Operating out of the town of Nightmare Cove, players create a monster hunter character, then pick from a menu of adventures where they solve puzzles, find items and treasure, and fight monsters such as ghosts, werewolves and zombies. The Adventure Builder tool is a proprietary, in-game engine that allows users to make their own original adventures, writing story text and easily adding monsters, treasure, ability checks and other “events” to their story trees. Once completed, these stories are added to the menu of adventures available to all players.
Game designer and Chief Content Officer Doug Eboch said, “I found the typical button pushing games on Facebook unsatisfying. I wanted to create something that would engage the mind as well as the index finger.” Eboch is a screenwriter who wrote the original screenplay for the movie Sweet Home Alabama. “When Doug first approached me about this idea of making our own game, I was on the same page immediately,” says Peter Vaughan, game designer and Chief Creative Officer of Evil Plot Games,
“The social network deserved better gameplay, richer characters and more substance and we’re doing that in Nightmare Cove.” About Evil Plot Games, LLC: Evil Plot Games, LLC is an independent game development company located in Los Angeles, California. The focus is on creating online and mobile games that appeal to casual gamers looking for deeper gameplay than found in the average social networking games.

Watch on Sunday, play on Monday!
New York, NY – October 3, 2011 – Ecko|Code and Showtime Networks today announced that the Dexter Slice of Life game is now available to play on Facebook. Based on the hit Showtime series Dexter®, Dexter Slice of Life combines progressive “real-time stealth” gameplay with the dark humor and suspense of the TV show. In a Facebook first, Dexter Slice of Life will introduce new game episodes the day after the airing throughout Season 6, which premiered yesterday evening. To check out the free-to-play title, please head online to http://apps.facebook.com/
“Dexter Slice of Life shows how social play online is evolving – this is a deep transmedia experience that both gamers and fans of the show will love,” said Marc Fernandez, EVP of Development at Ecko|Code. “People can play anytime as Dexter or their own custom made ‘Dark Passenger.’ Dexter is a brilliant, complex show that asks as many questions as it answers, and this game is an extension of that.”
Developed internally at Ecko|Code, the “real-time stealth” gameplay in Dexter Slice of Life perfectly captures the precision and cautious nature of Dexter’s methodical stalking. This “asynchronous” multiplayer experience will allow players to control their “Dark Passenger” avatar to silence their friends’ sometimes evil in-game personas – even when they are not online – and become the vigilant watchman of the weak and downtrodden. Series star and executive producer Michael C. Hall has provided voiceover work, and has been personally involved in development of the game to guarantee its authenticity.
“Dexter Slice of Life provides a tremendous opportunity for a Showtime property to find a new audience, connect with our current dedicated fan base and extend the brand into bold new mediums,” said Laura Palmer, Senior Vice President, Distributor Marketing, Showtime Networks Inc. “Ecko|Code has crafted a fascinating, fun game and we look forward to watching our fans interact with it!”
