SAN FRANCISCO, CA- AUGUST 29, 2012. –– Today Eruptive Games, the social game developer behind the top-10 title Mercenaries of War, is announcing a partnership with Zynga, the world’s leading provider of social game services, to publish Eruptive’s next-generation social game, Citizen GRIM. Zynga will distribute Citizen GRIM to its global network of players on Facebook and Zynga.com.Through the partnership, Zynga will work with Eruptive to maximize discovery, engagement, retention and monetization.

Eruptive Games focuses on attracting the growing mid-core demographic, consisting of males 18 to 45, and aims to captivate this audience with their newest title,Last month, Eruptive also announced a $1.1 million seed round of funding from multiple investors, including Kevin Colloran (ex-Facebook), Nadeem Kassam (Zynik) and Guitar Hero creator, Kai Huang.
Citizen GRIM will launch with Zynga later this summer. Eruptive also has plans to launch a Citizen GRIM iOS game this fall.
